How can an individual help MAGA succeed?
Buy American!
Remember that the main reasons for tariffs are to encourage Americans to buy American made products, encourage manufacturers to build products in America, and reduce our dependence on foreign countries (particularly potential adversaries) thereby reducing our trade deficit.
Avoid buying products from other countries that can be produced in the USA. There are many products that cannot be purchased “made in america” - tropical fruits and nuts, French and Italian cheeses, coffee (yes some comes from Hawaii but most is produced in other countries), and many unique products from friendly western countries. Buy these products knowing there is no source in America.
Avoid buying from unfriendly countries and countries that do not have the same standards of worker rights, environmental standards, safety standards, and law and order as the USA. American companies move their manufacturing to these types of countries to take advantage of the cheap labor and lack of standards. Do not support this exploitation. Buy products made in America first, and then from our friendliest trade partners. This does not include China, Russia, Turkey, Mexico, and any country hostile to our allies. Manufacturing has been moved overseas in such large amounts that it may be difficult to buy some products that are made in America. Buy from friendly western countries that have similar standards as the USA. Canada, Britain, most EU countries, Japan, South Korea, Israel and other democratic western countries. Do not buy products from countries that want to see the destruction of America. This includes BRICS, Muslim, many South American countries, China, Cuba, Haiti, and most communist and socialist countries.
Buy American to help save the environment. We have the highest environmental standards in the world in America. When you buy from countries with lower standards you are exploiting the workers and the environment to save money. When you buy from foreign countries there is always increased shipping and thus increased use of fuels. Large container ships are some of the worst polluters on the planet. Consider purchasing a used product instead of a new import. The used product is already in America and you will save money and the environment, by not purchasing a new product. If enough Americans refuse to buy foreign products we can force manufacturing to return to the USA.
Buy American in your personal life, and anyplace you have influence over purchasing, encourage buying products made in the USA or from our closest, friendliest, western allies. I am willing to spend a little more to encourage manufacturing to return to America. We need to return manufacturing to America to MAGA. We will face another horrific war in the future. The history of mans greed and warlike nature ensure this will occur. Our survival as a nation will depend upon our preparedness. We cannot rely on foreign sources for our products.
