Mr. President Biden
I am an American citizen and you are my president. This is what I want from you and my government. Please solve these problems before any new spending initiatives. Please solve these problems using existing resources. This is how you can earn my vote.
You may not understand the American dollar has been the most trusted form of currency in the world for decades. It is not the ruble, or euro, or yen, or peso. Go to a currency exchange in many countries and you will find the American dollar is the basis of exchange. You are going to ruin this if you continue with this deficit spending. The truck in my driveway and my home are not worth considerably more than a few years ago. The dollars we are using as an exchange medium are worth much less than they were a few years ago. Printing money and deficit spending have consequences.
1. Stop all deficit spending. NO more deficit spending period. We are deeply in debt and that is unacceptable. I do not want our country to be in debt. Please do not add any more debt to our children's future. It should be a crime to burden our children with debt.
2. Balance our annual budget. Do not spend more money than we collect in taxes. You need to direct the Senate, Congress, and every cabinet member to go through our budget and make cuts to reduce costs. Do not spend any more money until you have accomplished a balanced budget. Reminder - we are broke and owe trillions in debt.
3. Present a plan to begin paying down the debt we as a nation owe. I suggest we pay off one trillion every year until the debt is reduced to zero. Reminder - we are deeply in debt. A small increase in interest rates would devastate our budget and country.
4. Stop illegal immigration. This is a detriment to this country in many ways. You swore to uphold our laws. I want you to follow through on your oath. You are not doing so now. We have laws that exist to prevent illegal immigration. You are not enforcing the law. You are encouraging illegal immigration in many ways. Please close our borders immediately. Build a wall, use the border patrol, use the military, do whatever it takes to eliminate illegal immigration. Every single person you are allowing to come into the country exacerbates the problems we need to solve. Reminder - we are broke and deeply in debt. Solve the problem you have created allowing millions of illegal aliens to enter our country. All of these people either need to be deported or they need to earn a high school diploma, learn English, receive all needed immunizations, get medical insurance, obtain housing, find a job, and become American citizens. What is your plan? All the children will add more load to our already overburdened schools. None of these people have paid any taxes yet they are costing everyone in this country money. What is your plan? Reminder: we are deeply in debt and have many problems to solve within our country. I empathize with everyone in the world in unfortunate situations. However I feel more concern for the legal citizens of this country and I wish to make their situation better before the needs of foreign countries and people who have illegally entered our country.
5. Please do something to unite this country. You promised to do that in your campaign. I see you doing nothing that furthers the healing of this country. People have different opinions and varied desires. That is good and part of a democracy. You need to find a middle ground on the issues facing this country and please everyone somewhat. You are only advancing issues important to a portion of the people you represent, and that is further dividing this country.
